Last weekend I took a roadtrip with my grandma down to Southern BC. She stayed with her sister in Cranbrook while I carried on to meet my friend Sheree and her mom where we stayed at her parents’ cabin in the mountains. It was the perfect opportunity to really give my camera some exercise. Sheree is really into photography and also owns a Canon Rebel herself. We had such a blast driving around looking for pretty things to photograph.
We had such a blast driving around looking for pretty things to photograph. And we found plenty of beauty everywhere.
The weekend was a perfect mini getaway. We relaxed in the sun and took in the scenery and played a lot of Yahtzee! I really wish I could have stayed longer.
We saw a lot of wildlife on this trip – especially on the drive home with my grandma. Our drive ended up being around 13 hours because we took the long scenic route through Jasper National Park and I kept insisting on stopping to take pictures of animals. I genuinely couldn’t believe how close the big horn sheep let me get to them, and how close the male elk insisted on getting to me! His antlers looked so very soft and fuzzy and his eyes reminded me of Jacob’s.
