Prayer Flag for Project Heal

I’ve spent hours designing, creating, knitting and hand-stitching this prayer flag for CarlyMarie’s October 15th Remembrance ceremony on the beach in Australia. I posted it to her today. I know of many families from all over the world who have created flags in memory of their babies. I feel so lucky to be able to be a part of this event even though I can’t be there in attendance.

The letter I sent to CarlyMarie with Finley’s Prayer Flag.

Thank you so much Carly Marie for allowing all of us the opportunity to parent our children even though they are no longer here with us.

  4. Oh! Every once of it made with your loving hands! It is so so sweet! I look forward to seeing it fly alongside my Claire’s and so many others… as much as it breaks my heart to say so.
