I am so proud to be your mummy. So much so that I’ve decided to turn your short life into something meaningful, that will hopefully help a lot of other families who lose their sweet babies.
Two days ago I posted the Just Giving page that I set up in your name to raise money for Sands. And my boy, we’ve already raised nearly £800.
Nothing will take the pain away that not having you here brings, but knowing that because of our loss others will hopefully be able to find some comfort fills me with a bit of joy and hope.
By raising funds, we are also raising awareness for baby loss and its effects, and creating a lasting legacy for you. So many people have seen this blog in the last few days. So many people know about your life and that you existed even though you are not here with us now. Perhaps reading your story will help somebody else. To realise that it’s ok to speak about their loss. To know that how they are feeling is normal and ok. How could I ask for anything more?
I love you baby boy and I hope that wherever you are, I’m making you proud. I miss you so much.
